Vapac launches eco-cylinder for humidifiers
Since the launch of its ‘Energy Saver’™ programme in 1995, long before the environment featured on any government’s agenda, Eaton-Williams implemented a group-wide energy saving initiative. The latest product to benefit from this strategy is Vapac’s new eco-friendly cleanable cylinder.
Vapac’s eco-friendly cleanable cylinders extend the operational life
of the cylinder without compromising performance and provide ease of maintenance
whilst reducing energy and overheads.
The cylinder manufactured from recyclable materials, is designed with Neoprene seals that align that cylinder halves to ensure correct assembly and a water-tight seal.
Steel rings are located on the flange of each cylinder half, this distributes the clamping force and prevents the flanges from distorting, a problem usually associated with cylinders held together with bolts or clips.
By simply unfastening the toggle clamps maintenance engineers have easy access to remove any scale or detritus that collects in the bottom of the cylinder and to clean the strainer. The cylinder can be very quickly re-sealed.
The correct positioning of cylinder electrodes determines the accurate working of humidifiers; therefore, the eco-cylinder’s electrodes are permanently fitted in the upper half of the cylinder.
Vapac’s eco-friendly cleanable cylinders are interchangeable with Vapac disposable cylinders and can be retro-fitted or installed in new Vapac humidifiers.
